“Basic Science Center for Youths”
Overview
The Seoul Science Center was built in Hagye-dong, Nowon-gu in order to narrow the scientific and cultural gap between areas in Seoul and to promote the balanced development of Seoul through the expansion of science and culture facilities in the Gangbuk area. The construction of the Seoul Science Center began in 2014, and construction and exhibition installation were completed in 2016. The center opened in May 2017.
